Welcome to “HOA: It’s A True Story,” where we dive deep into the world of HOAs and, this week, discuss “What’s New with Roofing.” In this episode, Regan Brown and Bill Mann of The G.B. Group, Inc. sit down with Tamara Cicchetti, Owner of Professional Roofing Services, PRS Roofing.
As the roofing industry continues to evolve, it can be challenging to keep up with the latest trends and materials. Tamara Cicchetti, a seasoned roofing expert with over 18 years of experience, shares her insights into the industry and what homeowners can expect in the future.
During the conversation, Tamara explains how she transitioned from practicing law to starting a roofing business with her husband. She also provides valuable advice on choosing the right type of roof based on your location and what will provide the greatest return on your investment.
“People think that once roofs are installed they’re good for 20-30 years, but that really isn’t the case,” Tamara explains. “A traditional shingle roof is a 20-40 year roof and will last that long with periodic maintenance. If you’re lucky, you can get a tile-roof underlayment to last about 20 years. They need to be inspected and maintained, just like your vehicle.”
Tamara emphasizes the importance of choosing a product that is proven by a reliable manufacturer. As the owner of PRS Roofing, she offers services such as roofing, installation, waterproofing, and fireproofing, primarily serving southern Nevada.
