HOA Legislation & CLAC – Part 2

Join us as Regan Brown and Megan Hupe of The G.B. Group, Inc. sit down with Darren Bevan, Esq. of Baydaline & Jacobsen, LLP, and Louie Brown, Advocate for the California Legislative Action Committee for HOA Legislation and CLAC Part 2! In part two, they begin by discussing the priority bills for the legislative session, specifically targeting SB9 and its potential effect on HOAs. They discuss SB9 as it relates to affordable housing in California and its impact. They also discuss upcoming legislation with positive impacts for HOAs, and how CAI CLAC is not only opposing negative legislation but supporting positive legislation. They briefly discuss legislation that might arise from the Champlain Tower South collapse in Florida, and that it will be a topic of discussion for the CAI CLAC at their Annual Planning Meeting.
